We used to have a healthcare system that was admired worldwide. But years of conservative cuts and Doug Ford’s obsession with spending tax money in the GTA have left our rural health network on life support. We deserve better than this.
There’s a better way forward. We can reinvest in small-town hospitals, restore emergency rooms, hire more nurses, and build family doctors’ clinics in communities across rural Ontario. We can rebuild the healthcare system we know and deserve.
